Surgi-View Software

 
This software has been adapted especially for use in a medical-video system, being extremely versatile and easy to use. It is possible to watch up to 4 independent video feeds at once with each window having its own time slide controls.

Split Screen
Up to four windows can be opened on-screen each displaying a different video stream either from the same camera or from different cameras. this opens a wide variety of options for both remote surgeons and lecturers.

Automatic Data Storage
All recorded data is stored on a virtual tape loop system which holds the video feeds for a specified length of time. These feeds (or still images) can be easily accessed and exported onto permanent storage media, allowing the build up of a "Best Practice" library.

Easy-to-Use
The software is extremely easy-to-use and can be installed and run on any Windows-based PC. No extra hardware should be needed as all the video streams are available over the hospitals existing intra-net. A high-speed broadband connection is essential.
